The opportunities that have affected USA today and are still affecting them are the need to gain new customers and expanding their market share (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). While USA has been a major player in its industry, they must continue to gain new customers to keep up with the rising overhead costs needed to produce the papers and provide online services. One of the main reasons I thought that America was a land of opportunity was because America gave the immigrants and other people different life options that their country probably didn’t offer them. Another reason was America offered opportunities for immigrants and people to pursue their dreams and also another reason was America offered many different types of jobs. The Hulls House also gave immigrants an opportunity.…

Greed is a concept conceived by man in his attempt to gain more power. Our Greed for power is the main reason we inhabit other lands. Man who thought they were superior, hence Nationalism, sought out to invade countries to gain control of their economic, society, culture, and basically everything the country had to offer (Simon). “By greed I mean the attempt of those who have plenty to get more, not the attempts for the rest of us to survive or lead a decent life. The American Dream is based on hard work and integrity, but I challenge the idea that the American Dream is still possible today because of the unlawful decisions that are becoming more and more popular because of the oppression that the leaders posses. At one point everyone started off nowhere but now, with hard anyone can achieve success in America or so they think. As time goes on the American Dream is getting lost and will soon be nowhere to be found.
