Obeying the law, rules or regulations means the act of a person need to follow the command or restriction of the rule of law in legal system, and regulations or rules set up by respective organization, otherwise penalties might be applied. For such instance, as a citizen of Malaysia, and on the land of Malaysia, a person should always follow the law stated in the legal system of Malaysia, for example, according to Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, Malaysia prohibit the dangerous drug, those who possess the drugs more than the amount stated in the law will receive the mandatory sentence of death by hanging. With the existence of law, it prevents the good human to turn evil. Besides that, it ensures the equality of the society, law is equitably to every single people on the Earth, as everyone are treated as fairly as possible, as it apply to every person without any exception. Law is also important to help to resolve the dispute between two or more person or entity, if there is a party cannot agree with another party, it provide fair and moral solution for the dispute. In brief, law is crucial to protect the assets and right of people, as such to defend the core value of the society, and maintain the order of the society, and to maintain the morality and ethics of the society. Nowadays, almost every single thing we do daily are related to the cybertechnology, for example, airplane, bank, school, mass transportation, medical, lift, various infrastructures, and so on. All of the systems use by these institution, or the system use to provide such services are unavoidable to be used by the society. If IT professionals misuse their knowledge while develop these system, it might cause serious harm to the people and society, because they are the one who develop various safety-critical software and system for the society that may have life-threatening impact. For such instance, if a radical IT professionals involve in develop the missile systems, and he purposely and secretly leave a bug in the system for him to remotely control the missile systems in the future. One day, he secretly launches the missile to attack a country that cause millions of people dies, it may worse to cause World War III to happen.
