These are also great spots to kayak, witness big wave surfing, or just sunbathe and relax.
Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay.
One of the activities that you simply cannot afford to miss taking part in in the island of Oahu is snorkeling. While this is possible in other parts of Hawaii such as Kahanamoku lagoon, Lanikai beach or the famous Waikiki beach, nothing beats snorkeling at the Hanauma bay. Located a short distance east of Waikiki, the bay was once a volcanic crater that now plays host to a kaleidoscope of beautiful marine flora and fauna in its clear blue waters. The bay has also been designated as a nature preserve in order to preserve the endangered species that are abundant in the bays reef.
It would therefore be great if you grabbed your snorkeling gear and hit the water so as to enjoy this hidden beauty. Snorkeling masks, snorkels and fins can also be rented at a cheap price at rental shops around the bay area.

It is 22 miles from Los Angeles which is where you board the ship that takes you to Catalina. When you are outside (or sometimes even when you are inside), the temperature is normally really warm and sometimes humid so I would suggest bringing and applying sunscreen in the morning and after every meal. Some of the native plants are eucalyptus trees, pine trees, moss, and cherry trees. The cherries that are on Catalina Island are different than what we are used to.…

These Hawaiian Islands have been inhabited for centuries before the first ships sailed across the Pacific. Hawaiian Islands have been shrouded in mystery since their history had been passed along vocally for centuries. Hawaiian culture hasn’t changed drastically ever since they inhabited the islands, until European and American explorers discovered the islands. This pair interested me the most because both nations have two completely different identities, but the Hawaiian Islands later become part of the United States. These nations have completely different history, religion, clothing, culture, and many more.…

In Hawaii, waking to the red and blue birds chirping and the oceans waves crashing on to the shore is tremendously relaxing. Looking out the window of the hotel while lying in bed, one could see crystal blue ocean crashing onto the sandy white beaches. The sand on the beaches does not feel like the beach in Panama City Beach; it does not stick to you as much and it is easier to get off. The sand is bigger grains than one might be used to.
