By doing this they are looked at as leaders and role models, people that are able to manage themselves both physically and mentally to support them and their talents. This kind of behavior has developed during the practices with the push that the coaches and love ones provide which drives them to determination to be the greatest. Such a task is not easy to do, it involves timing and scheduling having to split their day’s dedication half to their sport and half to their education. It can be stressful to be a student and an athlete for this shows how much time management is needed. Without an Athlete setting themselves a schedule to maintain good timeframe between sports and education it would not be helpful. No time management can lead them into failing of classes, which can cause a huge toll on their education and furthering it. Now having that time management not only balances both sports and education it can also help find time to enjoy their young years and socialize with their peers. …show more content…
Due to them not being involved into a sport of their choice they have to put all of their dedication into their school work way more. This gives them the opportunity to get involved in non- athletic activities such as clubs, for example Key club, SGA (Students Government Association) and more. Colleges and University not only look for academic achievements but also your environmental involvement. These involvement’s help with the opportunities of not only getting in to the school of their dream but achieving the scholar award to assist them. Some or none of the student that can be in the category of a non- athlete also have no time management skills which can affect them academically. Without the time management most fail to organize their priority which leads to them getting side tracked from their education. Losing control of setting your priority can also affect your opportunity to get accepted to the school of your desire. Non- Athletes have to find substituted ways to show leadership in their environment to show to schools that even without physical ability to involve themselves in sports they can not only involve themselves with their environment to make a difference in the community but gain leadership in the process. This can be achieved by joining clubs that interact with the communities around them and volunteering for activities that help these communities and other organizations. With over time of experience
