During this time Satan got after me again. I remember my dog of eight years got heart worms and where I’m from dogs don’t recover from that. I prayed and I doubled up on her heartworm meds and even asked my grandparent to pray and to this day she is heartworm free. God showed me during this time that He does answer my prayers. Also I tried to get back into dating again and was talking to a girl that I dated in high school. One day as we were driving playing the question game. I did think I would actually get in though; I could not even attend a university in my home state because of my ACT scores. I remember filling out the application and it asked if I have used tobacco or alcohol in the past twelve months, and I could honestly say no. I felt like that was a sign from God. One day after submitting my application I was mowing my five acres of grass, and I was mowing around some of the fifty-seven trees that I just recently planted. And God spoke to me. He told that even though I planted these trees, He was the one that would cause them to grow. And with that I knew that if I left to go to Liberty He would take care of the seeds.
