For the first couple of minutes, I would let the water just run, because it took a while for the water to heat up. Once it did, however, I began to push down on the water stopper.…

I now know all the cracks on the pavement and could easily make it through my day with my eyes shut. I walk straight past the counter without having to order, then sit in my usual seat by the window alone, take out my laptop and wait for my coffee. The only thing I have ever known to change is whether I am gazing at the sun, the rain or even occasionally snow through the cafe’s dusty window.…

Everyone has their fair share of drinking stories and they all vary from funny, sad, or stupid. My first time drinking with friends is a good mix of all three. We can blame it all we want on being young and stupid but looking back I think of it as a good time and an opportunity to learn a lesson. Almost everyone there dealt with the repercussions of our actions and somewhat regret what we did. Deciding to drink after our junior homecoming led to us getting suspended from sports for a week, two months of counselor meetings, and a bad reputation for a while if not the rest of high school.…
