I had a difficult time figuring who I was. In my search, I found that I am a person loves helping others than people helping me. I love learning and being happy. I like asking God for help than people because I know he is the only one that truly understands my intension. I realized that there is only one person that can save me from my suffering. I attest to this because I have escape death at least twice in my life. Therefore, I believe there is purpose for me. I realized that I enjoy expressing myself to others and what I portray is what others would think of me. I think that is why I choose Wartburg College. When I visited Wartburg, I felt more at peace with myself. Wartburg was a place for me to really discover who I was. Even though, …show more content…
Lewis in The Question about God , I believe that there is life after death. I believe that God created this world has an allusion for man to understand that there is creator. Being placed on this earth is a way to make the human kind to appreciate the little things he or she has. This prepares man to be content with what he or she has because in heaven everyone is happy and content. The concept of heaven or hell is true. I believe this mention in most religion in order to get people to understand God is ever forgiving but he can only forgive the individual if the individual repent after learning their mistakes. Heaven or Hell is the reward that one earns at their end of their life. The knowledge of God is important in my opinion because the human’s life is fragile in the sense that a person can get sick and died the next moment. I was always taught when it comes to the human lives, there is an uncertainty. My parent always say, “Hawa, you better pray because you do not know what is going to happen to you in the next minute”. Therefore, it makes sense to believe that there is a greater forces that make the decisions on what happens to an individual at any time of their life. This is a valid information to know because no one is certain what would happen to them at moment. I sometimes have a slight disbelief if my belief in God is not something that man made in order to keep control. I know that this disbelief is wrong because there are many times miracles have happen in my life. I feel that these miracles are God’ way of demonstrating that he is there spiritually to guide all individuals. Whenever I pray to God I feel that he listens the most and even though he does not immediately response to our prayers he intervene and give miracles to when we need it the most. I fully respect those who disbelief the existences of God because everyone is entitle of their opinion. Like what was expressed in the film The Question of God, God allow all

Man is made to be with God in eternity and it is one’s job to guide his neighbor to this everlasting happiness. All men have the desire for happiness, however God knows that all do not wish to seek Him, thus he gives all a choice between Heaven and Hell. Hell is the polar opposite of heaven. Rather than have the beatific vision in which one sees God in his glory, Hell is the eternal separation from God. Through sacred doctrine, one knows that this is not desired by God, but a choice one makes through the rejection of God repeatedly in everyday life.…

My primary thoughts towards Gordon College were created during a prospective student day. It turned out to be a negative experience that created a pessimistic view of this school and carried on my cynical view of Christians. It’s important because had I continued with my previous bias I would have attended a secular college which may have been a positive experience but would have definitely lead to a drastically different life.…

Over the last several years, I have learned much about Santa Clara University and I am convinced that it would be a perfect fit for me. Many Punahou alumni have attended SCU and they all loved their time there. My high school counselor also recommended SCU, and after extensive research, I visited campus during a trip to the Bay Area during last spring. Throughout my visit, I realized that the supportive, welcoming atmosphere was similar to Punahou and I immediately felt comfortable on campus. I continue to receive email and pamphlets about the school and know that I want to spend the next four years of my education at Santa Clara…

Hamilton took me by surprise. I knew it was a small liberal arts college, but I had no grasp on how unique and genuine the community was. So many people said hi to my tour guide, Emily, as she showed me around -- including the line cook in the dining hall! I also heard how a student emailed 10 alumni to help her with something, and all of them replied to her. This kind of close-knit, loving family is what I want in a college experience.…

My first exposure to the field was created after I participated in a stock market simulation in eighth grade and did finished in second place out of 45 students. My teacher saw that even at such a young age, I had a knack for picking up on certain trends of the market and making the right investments at the right time.
