My community is a circle-based community. It has a huge edifice in the centre, and …show more content…
I am thirteen now. I finally know and remember everybody in the community. I am the top in my class and I have a red bump on my nose that blew up one day. It’s called acne. My teacher told me that we learn about it next year. That’s a bummer. I guess I’ll research it at the library. But on my way to the library, I noticed a man I had never seen before. He showed me that the community was strictly controlled by the Council, with no freedom for its people. He told me that things could be better. So I left my community with him. It was a hard decision to make. But I stand here in front of you all, telling my story to the world outside my community. And if this is what it is like to live as an alien, I think I enjoy it a
