Yadkin Valley Academy Case Study

My biggest decision in life has been attending Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy. This would entail having to begin college classes my Sophomore year of high school. This also means that I have to leave most of my friends at my old school. Who did I consult? How did the good overweigh the bad? Why did I decide to apply for Valley? When I first began to think about my future I always thought I would be someone at Central Davidson High School. I had no idea that I could transfer to a different school, or that I would end up attending. When I found out about Valley Academy and thought about enrolling I first talked to my parents. My parents thought that Valley Academy would have endless opportunities for a girl like me, but told me that it was my decision to make and a rather large one at that. Nonetheless, I decided to talk to someone who went to the school. I began talking to my friend about how Yadkin Valley was right for me. He told me that the school would expand my learning and allow me to be completely creative. Also, I decided to ask my teachers for their beliefs on where I would be most …show more content…
This happened because I am at my dream school while still at home. I applied to Valley Academy and was accepted into the school of my dreams. As a result, I am not having to devote every waking moment to school, nor am I ever bored. I have been blessed to have such amazing teachers at my dream school. I would say that it most certainly worked for my family, friends, and self. I went to Valley Academy for the opportunities that come with a school that is indifferent from the rest. As a result, I am at Valley Academy, which is my perfect school. The school is everything I thought and so much more due to the fact that my school is a large family. I may not have liked the size in the beginning, but now I highly enjoy the family concept that comes with it. Therefore, I chose the perfect school, which was my biggest
