Everyday even though I am thinking about what I want to do today, I am always thinking about the future. My future is very important to me because I want to be someone people will remember. When I think about my future I want to do something that I will love so that it will not even feel like I am working at all. When choosing want it wanted to do I also think of the life I want to live and I need a job that will make me a lot of money to support my living style. Most of my family has majored in either Business and Administration or Accounting, so I decided that I would do the same. I have seen how much success my family’s career choice has brought them and I want the same thing for me. They have defiantly been a big influence on me. I have always had a passion and love for math. I also like to do a variety of things every day, so I personally felt like Accounting was the right career choice for me. My career goal in life is to be an accountant and I plan on achieving that goal by get the education and experience that I need in my field. The goals I have started for myself include furthering my education so I can purse my accounting career. I have started my goals by attending Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Going back to school to get my masters will give me a better chance at getting an accountant position at a job and it will help me make more money. Getting a job in this economy gets harder everyday so I need to do what I can to beat my competition. To get certified as a Public Accountant I must past the CPA exam. It is a 14- hour computer based test that has four sections. To prepare myself of this exam there are textbooks and practice test that I can take that will help prepare me. I also will take advantage of having family member in this field to give me advice and help on how they had to prepare themselves for the CPA
