The Importance Of Moving Back To Israel

Zionism, the movement of the Jewish people back to Israel, has caused conflict between the Jews and the Palestinians. The Jews felt they had the right to move back to their homeland or the Holy Land, but the Palestinians believe that the Jews do not have the right. Although some Jews are trying to see the Palestinian side, many are not. This is not to say the Palestinians do not need to see the Jewish side. (Chernin). Basically, if people would practice metacognition more often, this conflict would presumably not be happening. The Holy Land or the homeland of the Jew goes back many, many years, beginning with the oppression in Egypt. After going on their journey out of Egypt and making it to the Holy Land, the Jews were later dispersed. They worked hard to create fertile land modern methods of farming. To appease their ideas, they put in modern devices such as electricity and running water. The Palestinians believe they should have Israel because they descended from the Canaanites. If they descended from the Canaanites, then they were really there first. If they were there first, then they should have the right to Israel (Chernin). This claim seems to overpower the Jews claim, but it may not be true. Both the Jew and the Palestinians believe they have the right to own Israel, so even though the Jews found that their Palestinian neighbors were friendly, the Jews wanted Israel to be their own nation. They wanted only Jewish people and only Jewish holidays, like they thought it would be (Chernin). In short, the simple movement of the Jews has caused several wars and antipathy. Although the Zionism has caused problems and war, this dispute might be able to be dealt with
