High motivation in language learning will eventually lead the students to have bigger chances of achieving their learning goal. Although motivation is not synonymous with achievement but the effect of motivation drives the learners to achievement. The motivation encourages the learner to be more engaged with the activities during the language lesson and has more drive in achieving the language goals. Research by Kurum (2011) reveals that motivational factors play a big role in foreign language learning and teacher need to develop appropriate strategies to ensure they are able to motivate the students. The teachers also need facilitation in using the strategies to boost a promising result of motivation in L2 within the students. Lambert (1963) and Kurum (2011) shares the same idea as they mention in Degang (2010) that motivation is described as vital in affecting language learning.
