In today’s world it seems like there is a growing number of people that are being plagued with mental health diseases. In particular Alzheimer’s appears to affect a growing number of people each year. Alzheimer’s is considered to be the “sixth leading cause of death in the United States today” (Latest Alzheimer 's Facts and Figures, 2016). While many research is being conducted to figure out the best way to combat this, there seems to be one deterrent that stands above all. This deterrent that many of us employ every day is physical exercise. Exercise is the best way to deter Alzheimer’s which affects many people today. Everyone knows that exercise provides physical and some mental health benefits but what we don’t know is how it can be used to fight disease like Alzheimer’s. This paper is going to illustrate just how exercise can stave off this progressive disease.

As society becomes more advanced there appears to be an impression that we should relax more and not overexert ourselves. As studies show this leads people to have an inactive approach to physical fitness which can lead to a multitude of problems. Among those problems that can develop is Alzheimer’s. In order to prevent such a disease from happening it is important to engage in physical exercise. The amount of benefits that a person can gain from exercise is too big to ignore. Practically everyone engages in some form of physical activity everyday of their lives. A statement echoed earlier that needs to restated is that there is no one exercise in particular that can prevent exercise.
