Medical image analysis plays a vital role in medical diagnosis is a broad area of education and research attention. Medical imaging techniques become a nature look with different characteristics depend upon the selection of modalities with the requirements ( Li Luo 2007). For example, CT offer supreme information on denser tissue with smaller amount distortion whereas Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) offer superior information on soft tissue with supplementary distortion (Yong Yang et.al. 2010) and also that supply high resolution anatomical information in gray intensity. PET and SPECT are often to give superior information on blood flow and movement with low spatial resolution and provide the biochemical changes in color without anatomical …show more content…
Single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT): SPECT is a type of nuclear imaging test that describes how blood flows to tissues and organs. Before the SPECT scan, the chemical injection is injected o human body that is radiolabled, means it emits gamma rays that can be detected by the scanner. The connected computer gathers the information emitted by the gamma rays and two dimensional cross-sections is translated from it. A SPECT scan is primarily used to view how blood flows through arteries and veins of the brain. Research on this concern have shown that it might be more advantageous to brain injury than either MRI or CT scanning as it detects reduced blood flow to injured spot(s). The key role of the Neuroscience is the function of the brain, and their spatial organization. Motion, vision, and speech are the basic functions of the brain. The brain is a variable organ with respect to its anatomy and functions, which vary from one subject to another, and for a given subject they grow during lifetime.
