Aubrie, great post! I like how you described each stage of meaningful use that providers must comply with. Providers have to be able to show that they are using their certified EHR technology by meeting these measures in order to receive incentive payments. Meaningful Use improves the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care. Since, meaningful use is both a Medicare and Medicaid program that awards incentives for using certified electronic health records, it's important that providers are following these sets of stages/criteria in order to achieve Meaningful Use and avoid penalties. Overall, I enjoyed reading your post and I think you did a great job explaining meaningful use.
