Mass media plays a pivotal role on the society, it's the main source of everything in the world. I'm one of the many people who normally wakes up in the morning and the first thing that is normally done nowadays is checking social media, whether it's twitter, facebook, instagram, etc. I check everything and anything that is now in control of my mind, my life and my way of thinking and forces me to believe and disbelieve without using my mind or thinking. And then start my day by going to college, attending my lecture. But checking my e-mails and facebook and chatting through whats-app application instead of listening to the Doctor explaining how global mass media organizations have created a postmodern culture in which people can …show more content…
They don't differentiate between facts and fictions because the purpose of movies is to make people forget to use their minds. Giving an example for the following issue. Brave heart movie is based on an Historical event that mainly everybody knows about and is aware of, the movie assembles it comprehensibly that Mel Gibson's character, William Wellace was an existent man who actually lived in Scotland in the times of Horses and Castles days. Also, as usual Hollywood added some sparks to the movie to make it more realistic and easy to believe, the real William Wellace presumably never slaughtered a guy and then jumped off his Horse with a slow motion effect from a balcony. Without using brains for a second people automatically believed that this scene has happened in reality. Another example and consider this, after the movie "Jaws" striked the theaters, people virtually flocked sharks to extinction hectic fishing pertinent that they're population may never recoup. Every individual who saw this movie, knew that it was by all means fiction and those people were only characters who were only told to act. In legitimate life, not a single shark in existence is colossal enough to eat a barge. But no they did not stop here, when the brilliant scientist character acknowledged that the only approachable solution to prevent deceased tourists was by slaughtering the …show more content…
In my own point of view media has no shame, they broadcast any type of news without going back to the real story behind it or the actual truth. Misleading media is a normal thing now that is out of control. Nearly everyone now, knows about ISIS which Media refers to as " Islamic State" it stands with AL-Qaeda as one of the most deadly Jihadists groups, after it took over and earned Syria and Iraq. It was formed in April 2013, not only Arabs are part of this group they also have thousands of foreign jihadists members. The organization is ruled by Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. ISIS claims that they have members from all over the world; Germany, France, and several European countries as well as Israel. Although, IS claims that they are religious and are profound of spreading Islamic religion all over the world and forcing everyone to convert to Islam in the sake of Jihad. But let's be logical here, IS have slaughtered thousands of Muslims took over the Syrian land and killed it's people. How is burning a Muslim on camera to frighten the world makes you a Muslim?. After the Paris attack that ISIS called out that they are the ones who did it. Everyone is now frightened from Islamic people and actually all the Arabs all over the world. A scene happened in Paris after the attack, a veiled women was normally sitting in the train when a French woman
