Nearly two-thirds of Americans agree . In an Ap-ipsos poll , sixty-five percent of questions said it was ok to lie but only to avoid hurting someone's feelings . I firmly believe lying is justified when it can be used to protect and care for others .
Lying is justified when it can be used to protect and care for others . For example , Randy Cohen said you can lie to protect someone from serious harm . (2) For example if you don't want to do an event or something you don't like you lie and say you're busy or you are sick . It connects because if you hurt someone's feeling they can feel like you probably don't like them or something and they can be mad or sad and lead to harm .
