You may have noticed that in the last few chapters the layers were deconstructed with logic, not intuition. That’s because intuition has an inherent problem. It’s unreliable in stressful situations, and it gets progressively worse the more invested you become.
Logic on the other hand, is simple, it’s clean, and you can build on it. Try building a bridge with intuition, or gut feel alone, and see how long it stands!

These facts alone should be enough to make you wonder why people turn out in their thousands to see the Queen when she comes to town. You can see them crowding along city streets, waving their flags, and cheering, and gushing about how ‘special’ it was to see the Queen as she walked by. ‘I love the Queen, isn’t she wonderful!’ you will hear them say. But why is the Queen considered to be such a ‘special’ person?
The Queen ascended to her privileged position by inheriting the title and rank of her Father, King George VI. Just as he did from his father, King George V, and as all the other monarchs did right back to the beginning of that particular royal line.
The person who founded the line was presumably the toughest, or most influential, Lord of the surrounding lands. And through bloodshed, or consensus, became the King. But how many will objectively observe the situation, and then logically break it down, so that opinions and assumptions don’t factor into their ‘view’ of reality? Not many. Most will simply read about how exciting it is to have someone important in town, and decide that they can’t possibly miss such a special event.
Smoking is another subject that observation and logic can easily dissect. When they introduced cigarettes into modern society, via some very clever advertising campaigns, it was only a matter of time before it became a regular practice for the majority of people.
It progressed to the point where even the doctors were declaring that smoking was good for your health! So when the top movie stars began to smoke in major movie pictures, it was almost impossible to resist becoming a smoker if you wanted to fit in with mainstream society.
But if our parents taught us to think clearly from an early age, then would smoking have taken off like it did? Would anyone have seriously thought that inhaling smoke into their lungs was a good idea, or that it would produce positive
