Quite often, leaders manipulate the feelings of the population to achieve their goals. One such example was that of the Nazi regime which exploited the anger of a financially devastated Germany. By warping and distorting those hateful emotions, Nazi leaders were able to accomplish feats well outside the realm of logic alone. Due to this example among many others, it becomes prevalent that the world 's population needs to be able to think on their own. To have a single leader or group dictate the ways people live is a recipe for disaster, and the best way to counter it is through logic.
