Biggest Mistakes Research Paper

One of my biggest mistakes was getting an order of protection on my mom. I did this for many reasons but now that I'm older I have realized that none of those reasons are a good enough excuse for what I did. Also I have noticed, if I never had done that there are a lot of things that could have been avoided. I ended up living with my dad two 4 months before he went to prison for the third time. In the end I learned from the mistake I had made and will never do that again.

I got an order of protection on my mom because my dad wanted me to live with him, I was 12 years old. I didn’t like the idea of it but I wanted to live with my dad. I wanted to live with my dad for many reasons, I switched schools about 15 times living with my mom, she was an addict and she never had a good income to really take care of us the right way and when she did have money it wasn’t “good” money. After I got into some trouble, my dad came and

As I was telling him this his girlfriend, Hilleary, jumped in the conversation and kept telling me it will all be over by Christmas. They ended up talking me into the deal. We went to the courthouse the next morning and filed an Emergency Order of Protection and that lasted 2 months and then the judge was supposed to talk to me after that, and he never did. After the 2 months was up we went back to court and I didn’t know it was because the order of protection was going to keep going. The judge set the date December 1, 2017. 4 months later my dad ends up going to prison for drugs, and he had a past with drugs and he had convinced everybody that he was done with them and won’t touch them, especially with me in the house. Once he went to prison I had to live my dad’s girlfriend, and I didn’t like her at all. She

The biggest mistake I would say that I have made in high school has been becoming less active in our local HOSA chapter. My freshman and sophomore year, I was a notoriously active member in HOSA, participating in ever service project, competing in district and state competitions, and arranging school events. However, my junior year I began my employment and faced the most difficult classes I had ever faced; my attendance to meetings began to dwindle and I eventually found myself becoming an inactive member. I wish, instead of getting my job, I continued my active role in HOSA. I loved my job but my experiences with HOSA were more beneficial to my future.…
