Children today take for granted the comfortable lifestyles they live. They do not appreciate the opportunities that are laid out in front of them. Some do not take the chance to utilize the continuation of their education through college. Therefore, they do not understand their full potential. By living in America we have opportunities that can lead to a better understanding of what we are capable of accomplishing. We have the ability to improve the life we are given by changing our history when we take advantage of the many privileges we have in America. We are provided with protection and encouragement as citizens of the United States by the morals which this country was founded upon. We are thankful for America and how it provides us with job opportunities, diversity, and our freedoms. Job opportunities in America leads to a successful life. By living in America we are exposed to other people 's way of life, in their traditions and customs. With this exposure to a variety of ideas, we have grown a collective filter that reduces general bias between nationalities. Throughout the years we have made this country stronger through the ideas and inventions of people around the world. When people migrated to the United States they brought their unique cultures, traditions, and cuisines. For instance, pizza originated from Italy. Many Americans have altered pizza recipes into their own. We have Chicago pizza, New York pizza, and even California pizza. This is just an example of the many things America adapted. In New York, just by walking on the street you can see the multitude of cultures. While walking down time square we started seeing a difference in the environment and realized we were in Chinatown yet there were still hot dog stands on every corner. People come to America for a new beginning but carry their
