Why Do You Attend Concord University

My first question asked the student, “How long have you attended Concord University? (Do not have to be in succession)”. This question allows us to see if the time that the students are here is correlated to the student’s opinions of the institution. Question two states, “Do you reside on or off campus?” This allows us to see if students are happier when living on or off campus. With question four I used a skip logic so that if you answered on campus you would move to the question, “Which resident hall do you live in?” or if you choose off campus you would skip to the question, “How far away do you live from Concord University?” the question, “Which resident hall do you live in?” will help us narrow down and see if they are happier living on …show more content…
The question, “How far away do you live from Concord University?” This is to see if the student is happier if they live closer while living of campus or if this has anything to do with it at all. After both students answer the residence question they will both answer, “What do you of in your spare …show more content…
I thought it would be good to know if they just know someone or if they actually know why they transferred. “Do you know what their reason was for transferring and/or dropping out of Concord University?” skip logic was used if they did not know or if they simply just dropped out then they moved to the last few questions. I asked them, “What was their reasoning for transferring and/or dropping out of Concord University?” It felt it was important to split up the reasoning and where they transferred to so that the students had an option to write out everything that they had to say about why they transferred and were not limited to the options I could give them. “Where did they transfer to?” I listed every college and University in West Virginia in alphabetical order and added the options of out of state, unknown, and other. This will allow us to potentially see who or competition is. It may or may not be who we already think it

In freshman year I moved out of the school district with my mother, my brother, and my mother's boyfriend while my father moved into my old house. I was now left with two options: I could either continue to enroll in school at Massabesic High School or I could transfer to Kennebunk High School. See, my mother was just going to drive me to my existing bus stop every morning if I stayed at Massabesic but changing schools was starting to peak my interest. I started doing some research on both schools, making a compare and contrast chart while my knowledge grew. I looked at academics, statistics, student-to-teacher ratio and the whole nine-yards.…
