Many people do not realize that just working out alone will not get you in shape. Having a heathy eating plan is just important. With the use of fitness trackers tracking someones food intake is a lot easier. With many fitness trackers, they have apps for a person to enter their food information. A good example of this, is the fitness tracker brand Fitbit. They have an awesome app that easily helps a person count calories and make sure they do not go over the daily amount. This is why fitness trackers are so useful to a heathy lifestyle. The great thing about the app is that it is free with the purchase of most fitness trackers. Another great thing about the food intake control of a fitness tracker is that is creates good eating habits compared to a diet. with a diet, the effects do not last long and will end up backfiring on someone according to Wearable Technology. Also, according to Wearable Technology, “… fitness trackers [help],the notion of healthy living [as it] is gradually inculcated in the individual’s mind, especially when he jots down the types of foods that he has eaten…”. This means when a person eats heathy food over and over again, it becomes a habit. Also, when someone wrights down what they have eaten, it sticks in someone’s mind to eat heathy all the time. This is better than diet because the person has to decide what is heathy and not follow a guide line. …show more content…
For many people, working out at the gym is not fun and doing those home work out videos are even worse. With fitness trackers they make it fun to be active and to be fit. Most fitness trackers, have friendly competitions between people to see who can get the most steps in a day. This makes being active fun and not seem so like such a drag. Also, with many fitness trackers they can track a person sleep at night. This is very interesting for many people who have a hard time sleeping because they can finally see how much sleep they are really getting. Many people think sleeping a couple hours is fine and doesn 't effect their body. But, according to the NIH getting sleep is very important to someones physical heath. Without proper sleep, a person can injure themselves easily. With that being said, proper sleep is very important. Fitness trackers really do make having a heathy life style fun and
