Personal Statement: Stressful For College Students

Admittedly, I have never lived a healthy life. College can be stressful for students. I believe that stress has caused me to turn to food, sugary drinks, and TV every day. There are many health behavior changes that I would love to change, but the one health behavior change that I choose is that I want to start being more physically active. I want to incorporate a good exercise routine into my life every day so I can become a healthier woman.
I want to improve my physical health and emotional health. I used to be a soccer player, so I was active every day. I used to be able to run around my backyard almost ten times. Running is not something that I am good at anymore due to my poor health behaviors. I get out of breath every time I walk down

College and my personal life can be stressful. Exercising a few times a week will improve my mood, and help me reduce my stress level. I noticed that I am always tired for no reason at all. Exercising a few times a week will boost my energy level. Exercising does not have to be a consequence. I don’t do anything else other than my school work, so I could try to incorporate exercising as something I do for fun during the week.
Having an exercise routine in my life will improve my life in many ways. Exercising will reduce my risk of cardiovascular diseases. There is a history of heart disease in my family. My pap had heart problems before he passed away. My grandpa has heart problems, and my great uncle has heart problems. I know I am overweight, so exercising could help me reduce my risk of getting diabetes. According to what I was reading in our textbook, regular exercise can lower my risk for breast cancer. Having an exercise routine in my life could help me improve my mental health. I could feel happier and improve my stress. According to what I was reading in my textbook, I could increase my life span if I exercise a few times a week.

I have no excuse for not exercising. I am ready to get up and get moving. I am looking forward to taking on this challenge and improving my
