The United States (U.S.) is considered to be more diverse than any other country in the world. The population of the U.S. is over 315 million people, which is much lower than that of third-world countries such as India.1 India was estimated to be the second most populated nation behind only China. The literacy rate in the U.S. is close to 99%, which is the highest in the world.1 Outside of literacy; economic and cultural differences show why the United States is known as a “first-world country,” where, India is considered a “third-world” nation.
