In our daily life, be it professional or personal life, we one way or the other show skills, and for any person to excel in both professional and social life, interpersonal skill must be in display. It’s important to develop interpersonal skills because we communicate and interact with people of diverse background. In any capacity, we communicate and interact with team, group, and management in our workplace; understanding the developing of interpersonal skills and its application will set one on his way to success. DEFINITION: Listening is the ability to receive accurately and interpret messages in the communication process.

Gain Information: Listening skill can help an employer obtains information that enables the organization to reach a better decision about organizational matters. Listening enables a supervision to get valuable ideas from subordinate who may not have been known and when an employer listens attentively to a job applicant, he is likely to get details that are not written in his résumé.
Develop Trust: Listening skill can help a team succeeds or fail in a project work. When a team member does not listen to instruction, the project might fail. Trust grow in friends when they listen…
