The splendor and grandeur with which you view consciousness, and assess its properties, is only a product of a romanticizing brain, lost in a narcissistic haze and declaring itself elevated and distinct than the matter (life and non-life) that surrounds it. Then it precedes to attribute its presumed specialness of a divine origin. But for another reason as well. Although the brain is unique and reiumphant in its self-aware recognition, it must also recognize its singleness, loneliness, stranded, confused, wondering why as if there is a special reason or purpose, and this sets off existential drama, a void of yearning, hoping, wishing, presumptuous assuming there are connected to something divine and beyond powerful. In this way, they are not abandoned, they are loved. They are not meaningless, but their life has purpose and soon awaits blissful paradise. Loneliness is replaced by a profound sense of oneness in your intimate connection and relationship.
