Less than half of students graduating high school actually have an idea of what and where to go. Which leaves more than half of the students lost. Students should be able to receive work and life-training skills so they can be prepared the world outside of high school. Life is constantly changing every day and we need to be prepared for that time when it comes to it. It is important for students to be prepared and ready for these moments as they grow up. Although it is important to learn academic skills, students should be taught life skills in school because not a lot of people know how to live on their own, not all school subjects are needed for specific jobs, and it will lead students to a healthy and productive life.

One reason is because most kids do not know what it's like living on their own and having to pay bills. Some people don’t even know how to write out a check, let alone know how to sign one. Another reason is because not all job requires the classes and subjects school teaches us. It's more important to learn life-based skills because everyone needs those no matter what profession they pursue. Lastly, students should be able to receive work and life-training skills because it helps lead kids to a healthy and productive life. Some people disagree and say if they cut the required classes and replace them with life-training classes, students will not have enough knowledge for other jobs they might pursue in.
