This created a lot of conflict because the people of North were getting paid twice as much and were not paying any where near the amount of import tax as the South was, in fact the South paid for more than eighty-five percent of the railroads that were laid by the federal government. The South saw that the people up North were bathing in their own money, and the South were having to eat their own crops because they could not afford any of the manufactured goods that were coming from the North. This all goes back to the American Revolution, the whole reason we went to war with Britain is because they were imposing taxes without asking their colonies, making them pay for goods that would not be beneficial to the colonies. To fix these problems he wanted to bring the government back to the people of the United States, he wanted to bring back competition to solve government involvement and the tariffs, and he wanted people to stand up for themselves and vote for who they actually want in the elections. Wilson had many other problems and solutions in his book but theses were some of the main ones that stuck out to me. During Woodrow Wilson’s…

A solution to this could be that we do not give amnesty to the illegal immigrants unless they are doing something that will support our economy and we have to improve and increase the security of patrolling the borders even if it means using a little bit more money but in the long run it will help America and we won’t have to pay as much tax dollars to the low income people, which are mostly illegal immigrants. Under those circumstances, we still receive benefits and drawbacks from Cuban illegal immigrants coming to the U.S.; they affect our economy, culture/ diversity, and government.
