Learning A New Language Class Analysis

We like to know more things in our life. Learning a new language is one of those things, and it might be something hard for many of us. But if we learn a new language, that will give us a lot of adventures such as having a better chance to get a job in well-known company and giving you a better communication skills. It also can help you to be closer from your goals. When I was in high school, I could not speak any other language than Arabic. After I graduated from high school, I decided to study abroad in order to learn a new language, so I went to the USA to learn the English language. As soon as I attended to be a student in core 115, I got a lot of interests feeling to have more knowledge about the leadership qualities. In this class, I got a lot of assignments such as reading three books and letter. I also had to watch a move. I learned many things from these assignments, and they are called: “swipe & hope”, “One Day, All Children”, “Antigone”, “Invictus”, and Martin Luther King, Jr. - Letter from Birmingham Jail. After I read the “Swipe & Hope” book, I found a good quality that leaders should show their people love and mercy, and should not murder or kill their people. Also, they should not treat their people as animals because they are humans, and they have to be respected from their leader. “One Day, All Children” tells me that to become a leader, I should have a faith in myself even though that there are a lot of people do not agree with my ideas. Because this faith in myself will keep me working on my ideas to become real, and these ideas will benefit my society or community to be better than before. I really liked “Antigone” book, because it says that we have to do what God wants us and ignore man rules. We know that God knows the best for us, so we have to follow his rules in order to win in this life and go to paradise. After that, I watched “Invictus”, and I learned many things from this movie. I learned that leaders should sacrifice for their people by servicing them and giving them what they need. For example, Nelson helped the rugby team to be prepared for the world cup. He afforded for them sports tools and a lot of supports from their people, and all of that got a great result which was holding the rugby world cup for the first time in the South African history. I learned from Marten Luther King that leader should not show any differences between a white or black men/women because we all are brothers and sister, and God created us
