Being a leader does not put an individual above his or her teammates in any moral, mental, or physical way. It merely sets that person as a guide to keeping their teammates on track. Many leaders can become arrogant due to their position and try to use it as a sort of bragging right or leverage against their teammates. This will only cause issues that hurts the team overall. For these reasons, I make sure to let my teammates know that I do not feel superior to them in any way. I am not the fastest on my team and I do not have the best shot, I am simply a hard worker that follows directions while trying to encourage my teammates to do the same, regardless of skill. With this modesty comes a sense of integrity. Not just within myself, but within my teammates as
