In today’s world, many people do not know that the employees who possibly made their clothing work in harsh and unhealthy conditions. I also believe that it is important for companies enforce that the vendors and factories are meeting their regulations, as well as the country 's laws. Many companies such as Target have standards that are put in place to protect their employees, but harsh labor conditions and unlawful practices are still happening. I believe it is very important that companies need to have strict processes in place to promote safety and fair working conditions for the employees of these factories. It is also the company 's responsibility to inform the consumers what the standards are about the company and have annual reports that show that the factories are following their regulations. If consumers actively choose to only buy clothing from companies that enforce fair labor and not shop at stores that do not follow the standards that are put in place. Then maybe manufacturers will shift to adopt and enforce fair labor conditions. With consumers and companies enforcing standards and regulations to promote safety and well being of workers, factories will not be able to force labor on employees, underage labor, and unhealthy living
