After a long night of discussing pack business, Bailey and his brothers head over to their local diner to grab some food. Bailey, the youngest of the four Alphas realizes the new waiter there, Jeremy, is his mate, and a human. With things happening in the pack, Bailey also has to woo and protect his mate at the same time when Jeremy's homophobic stepfather shows up in town intent on dragging him back home to fix him. After the stepfather attacks someone at the diner, he is arrested. Now Bailey must convince Jeremy not to run away and they get to know each other better. When some of his friends are reported missing, one of them being the same guy Jeremy's stepfather attacked previously, he heads over to help his brothers try to find them. However,
