These jobs are not the most well paid and my parents have asked me if I would consider a more economically safe profession, but they understand that I will be much happier expressing my thoughts and experiences through art and teaching younger generations how to access the same gratifying outlet from the unforgiving, perverse world we live in. A degree from an expensive college is not superior to a degree from a local, public university, especially for someone who is pursuing the arts like myself. In the long run, in my profession, I will actually go a lot further with my continuous need to improve myself and those around me.
