The problem with studying black studies will be hard to find the truth behind everything such as who the major people that played the biggest part of stopping segregation. The other issue is you have to understand the concept behind the civil rights movement to try to collaborate with how life is now compared to how was back then. We face similar issues now that they face back in 1855 were the civil rights movement was just beginning, but it’s still not as bad as it was back in those times. For instance when I was in class and had to compare everything that was going on today to compare all the similar issues that’s going during the civil rights movement. It was hard trying to compare to because the mindset is different from how we were during the Civil Rights Movement to how we are today. The racial discrimination, racial equality to how white people were beating, killing and lynching black people because they wanted to stand up for there rights that we all ready had, but wasn't being enforced and overly discriminated. Going in front of a crowd of people, so people can hear and understand your purpose. I like to talk to people at times, but in front of a crowds is really scary at times. Some people are naturally other people. I have to work hard to be at good public speaker. I am the person who is trying to build front the bottom up, so I can be a better speaker whether I am talking about something formal or whether it am talking about my experience specially giving knowledge to people that are stubborn to listen.
