The declaration of independence was just full of injustices so it led to the constitution which had a stable rights for every individual. Therefor the constitution had to be made so that everyone could be treated equally, having their own individual rights. First off the British Government would totally ignore individuals needs. They refused for a long time the consent of certain laws that was felt necessary for the benefits of all. “He has refuses his assent to laws , the most wholesome and necessary for the common good”.(Declaration). Also he had troops invading people's privacy. They had no say so and couldn't dismiss the soldiers away. “He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.” and “For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us.” (Declaration). These rights made it so that People now can lawfully be in their own sanctuary! Every individual now has the same equal right. meaning no more soldiers could just stay in their house without their approval. “No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered, without the consent of owner , now in time of war…” (constitution) . It also says “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated,..” ( constitution). Likewise the constitution made it so that people had freedom of speech, religion, and press.
