Inclusive leadership traits and skills
Inclusive leaders are characterized by some universally recognized leadership traits, such as honesty, trustworthiness, decisiveness, intelligence, positivity, and good communicator (Frost & Walker, 2007). Both attempts to bring leaders and followers to achieve through great levels of motivation and ethics. Features frequently connected with inclusive leadership are also defined for transformational leaders. Characteristics such as shaping and constructing a shared vision, motivating followers, promoting the exploration of new methods to problem solving. Furthermore, working to assist followers to develop their skills and setting goals of high performance. Both leadership styles include moving followers away from their self-interests and to focus on the benefit of the group, organization, or society (Thorn, 2012). The leader’s goal should be to align the group culture to the organizational culture in order to be successful (Tabuena, 2013).
