For the bible says, "And God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them" (Gen. 1:26-27) Understand that God created people with having his characteristics rooted in them so that they will be able to show the very same aspects of God.
As an Early Childhood Educator, we are responsible for children to discover their own identity, to learn the values of others, and to know the importance of different learning forms. It is the case of having a great influence on children. Children learn through the things that they see and hear through the people that are involved in their lives. For instance, as an educator If I did not have the right values in life and was one that showed negative behavior and/or was one who likes to argue, than nine times out of ten those children that I teach would mimic everything I done. Which means their behavior would be negative and they would like to argue as well. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) I should want to have values of good intention of the interest of a child. Having great and true values are like the heart that speaks to God. In Theology Applied: A Living Faith, Etzel & Gutierre said “the heart" in simple terms, like comparing the "heart" (i.e., someone 's "will"). (Etzel & Gutierre, 2012) That is why it is vitally important to have values as an educator. This is necessary in the future of a child to have.

Genesis 1:26-27 states that humans are made in God’s own image, but this is not in the physical sense because God is spirit. Those of us in the military typically stay away from talking or speaking about anything religious driven as we don’t want to offend anyone. I personally think, that the way I understand how mankind is created in God’s image does not affect my vocation in any negative way. In this essay, I will use multiple examples to prove that, the belief in the image of God being a foundation to the Christian faith, and explain how this belief effects the way I interact with people of my chosen vocation. I will do this by using the Marine Corps as an example. One example of how we are created in God’s image, in my vocation is the way we dress and look.…

In “Evil and Soul-Making”, by John Hick, he discusses how man has to grow to reach the full potential that God has for him. Hick starts off with what Irenaeus says, which is humans are still trying to become like God because we lack personal heavenly qualities to be like Him. Then he goes on to mention Johannine, who says as human we are supposed to reach a higher level of holiness, and according Irenaeus humans have failed to reach this higher level. Hicks says there must be an evolution process for us to reach this higher level that cannot be directly created. God could create us to be perfect but that would never compare to the personal growth that we experience when we do this on our own, which God enjoys seeing.…

Attributes of God Discussion The two groups discussed in Packer’s Knowing God are the incommunicable and communicable groups of God’s attributes. In the incommunicable group is a short list of God’s attributes consisting of His immutability, His infinity, His omnipotence, His omniscient, His omnipresence, His sovereignty, His transcendence, His eternal and immanent attributes. According to Packer (1993), “The theologians called these qualities incommunicable because they are characteristic of God alone; man, just because he is man and not God, does not and cannot share any of them” (p. 99).…

Personal Philosophy I believe that all children are unique and bring their own knowledge and experiences to any educational environment. I believe the early childhood environment is a place for children to be free agents to; develop, learn, grow and express themselves, while having the confidence and respect they as a person are entitled to. Furthermore I also belie that all children have the right to learn and their learning be abundant with experiences, knowledge and quality, as well as feeling a sense of belonging to their community and learning environment. These beliefs are important to my teaching and my philosophy of early childhood eduction.…
