Human civilization makes accommodation – out of nature – for the sake of quality in life both socially and environmentally. The term ‘commodification’ refers to entity (distinguished from “products”, “objects”, “goods”, “artefacts”) that has use value, can be exchanged directly or indirectly with money, as an exchange into something more valuable (Kopytoff,1986; Castree,2003). The term ‘Nature’ has been defined in many ways around different perspectives and places; therefore this contestation revolves around the three meanings of nature: the ‘nature’ or essence of a thing; ‘nature’ as material place external to humanity; and ‘nature’ as universal law or reality that may or may not include humans (Ginn & Demeritt,2008; Smith, 1984). Hence, the term ‘Neoliberalism’ as governance or economic practices; ‘purposes that human well-being can best be advanced by liberating individual entreprenuerial freedoms and skills within an institutional framework characterized by strong private property rights, free markets and free trade’ (Harvey, 2005, p.2). Consequently, from lecture by Karen Fisher in Lecture 5: Environment, Society, Economy (2014a), the term ‘privatisation’ of the commons is when the common goods are turned over to firms and individuals by the government (Heynen & Robbins, 2005). This is one of the intiatives for the government to reduce commodification of nature further by setting a price on the common goods that were commodified to free markets. Therefore, the Green Capitalism exist to support the environmental health and protect nature conservations. This is supported by Sullivan (2009) who claims that these green capitalism considered the most efficient and sustainable business while maintaining and enchancing economic growth in an environmentally friendly manner. Therefore, being realistic means not only neoliberalism is the solutions to commodification of nature, but considering the instrintic value towards the nature and human nature, Green Capitalism might be one of the solutions as
