The invention of hospitals has forever changed the world. Hospitals were invented because rulers in India and the Abbasid Empire saw their people suffering because of a lack of proper medical care. They wanted to change that, and they did by creating a place where anyone could receive treatment, regardless of their social class or net worth. It praised him for building hospitals.” Ashoka built this hospitals because he had seen his people suffer and knew that he needed to do something about it. He built hospitals, giving everyone equal access to medical care. Harun, a ruler of the Islamic Kingdom, also called for the construction of hospitals because his people needed proper medical treatment. In 805 he called for a hospital to be built in his city because he understood that his people were not getting proper medical attention.
