Honoring and saluting veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces! Loving greetings for my Pa, brother, nephew, goddaughter, and numerous relatives and friends who served or are serving in the military. Thank you for your service! Let us also remember our wounded veterans; those who are suffering physically, mentally, emotionally and/or psychologically; and those who are facing challenges as they transition and adjust to civilian life. We owe our veterans not only our gratitude and appreciation, but a commitment to their well-being. They deserve it! God bless you, veterans!

Veteran: a person who has served in the military. That’s the definition that Google gives you when you type it in, but to me a veteran is more than that. I come from a military family. Words like loyalty and respect are commonly used in my home especially when it comes to describing my father and my grandfather, both veterans who have given up their time to serve this nation. Due to my father serving overseas, I know how it feels to wake up in the morning, walk down the hall, and expect to see a warm smile welcoming you to the kitchen, but instead find that it is not there.…

I wanted to take a few minutes before my family departs Fairchild to thank you for all you have done and are doing for the families of our Airmen. I have seen unlimited acts of kindness and support to families across our base. I have heard of tough situations which have been handled with "kid gloves", resulting in positive outcomes for everyone. I am aware that you may be privileged to information that would make great water cooler topics, however you keep it to yourselves and pass it on only when necessary and to the proper chain of command. I'm also aware that it's not always easy as you reach out to families who may not think they need anything, yet you provide a sounding board for them or are actually able to help with something that…

You guys have made a tremendous impact on the world during these past few days and I along with many others are here to cheer on and support your decisions and protests all the way. Instead of showing sorrow and grief, you showed courage and strength and did everything you could do to have others hear out your voices when it comes to the protest that gun laws should be stricter throughout America. I have full respect for those of you who are fighting for school safety. Your voices have reached out so far that the whole media is now showing attention and awareness for the school safety system in America.…
