At that point, school was more than work, it was something that I wanted to do and strived to be better at. It is like sports, for example, in the way that if one is forced to do it, it is not enjoyable. But if one willingly goes to sports events, they can appreciate it for what it is. That is exactly what homeschooling has allowed for me. I stopped thinking of school as work and started trying to do it. This applies to every subject, but reading and writing especially. A growing method of educating children is through homeschool, and this has become easier with the help of technology. Parents are more focused on teaching their children at home, which allows them to focus on their child’s individual needs rather than a collective education they would receive from schools. However, homeschooling is not as beneficial as many might feel; because even though the child would get individual attention, there would be a lot of sacrifices made on the parents part. Not only would there be sacrifices, but also homeschooling could actually leave out important subject matter for the child to learn, and this could affect their overall knowledge about a subject. Parents might find homeschooling a safer and easier method to educate their children, but it would affect the child’s social development as well with reduced interaction with other students.…

Homeschooling is not for everyone, but it could be a good alternative to traditional schooling, especially if the student is struggling to learn in that environment. By allowing children to be able to go at their own pace, instead of the pace of an entire classroom, they may be able to fully learn the materials that is required of them. Though, there is always the likelihood that a student could become isolated, causing them to have a difficult time developing social skills, especially if their parent does not provide time for social interaction among children their own age. However, homeschooling could benefit a wide range of students, as long as the family is able to put in the effort to keep up with their education and their lives outside of their…

Families embrace homeschooling over public school for a variety of reasons, and several reasons continue to ascend as trends. Homeschooling can provide a different vision for families educating their kids, but it is important that the parents are educated first. Most families who have decided to home school are families that are in favor of mastery and lifetime learning.
