The Importance Of Home On Family

Home. Home is where we grow up. Home can mean different things for each person, a home can be your happy place or it can be the place you never wanna return. We get these feelings, not because of the place itself, but by the people who all live in it. Each child grows up in a different home with different parents who all have their own ways of the right way to raise a child. Some parents believe in controlling everything about a child's life while others will let their children run wild and do anything they want. It's not always about how they are actually raising the children, but how they portray themselves and their relationships to their children. A parent's way of dealing with problems often rubs off on a child just as about anything they do can. Children who grow up with both parents living in the same house and or married, have advantages compared to kids growing up with divorced or separated parents. Three points are communication skills, emotional stability, and future relationships. Communication is a huge part of our daily life, we use it everyday and we learn a lot of our communication skills as young children from the interaction …show more content…
The advantages that the children with married parents have compared to kids with separated parents don't limit to communication, emotional stability, and future relationships. We can’t change how we were raised, that's on our parents' shoulders. I try not to always think about how I grew up as a bad thing though, I try to take my parents mistakes and turn them into lessons so I can maybe know what not to do, we only have one life, one chance to make of it what you want. I personally use my parents mistakes as drive to be nothing like them, I want to provide my children with experiences and love I felt I never got to experience that others
