The Importance Of High School Education

High School education plays a huge role in setting up success for college. For many people, it is the base for many years of education in the future. A student’s college career relies on how well they prepare themselves for it, but also depends on the preparation they receive from high school. A lot of people tend to think that they are in control of how well they are prepared for college, but in reality there are many factors that affect the situation. Every high school is different and they all have different ways of teaching and setting their students up for success. Many students that attend lower end high schools do not end up attending college, and for the ones that do, they struggle because of their education level being lower than what it should be. These people believe that as long as students go to school and make good grades that they will be prepared for college. Most of the people who support these thoughts come from schools with lower test scores and schools with academic failure. These statements aren’t entirely false, because an education is an education, but at the same time there are so many different ways that your education can vary. With that being said, not every high school is going to meet the same standards of other high schools. Some high schools do not have the same funds that others do, and this does not allow them to have the resources and tools that the more upscale schools
