Having a physician at the UCF Community Care Center who is dismissive and demanding can be challenging for other staff members. When there is too much tension in the workplace, it can cause big issues that will give the practice manager a reason to step in or intervene and handle the situation. Before an employer approaches any physician, it is important for he or she evaluate and distinguish between those physicians who are really difficult and dismissive, and those who are simply running a tight schedule. As the practice manager at the UCF Community Care Center, I expect my employees to behave and perform at a certain professional level. Because of their level of training, physicians are likely precise, exact and they expect excellent performance from other staff members around them. At the UCF Community Care Center, we do not tolerate bad behavior, especially in front of the patients. If one of our physician is having any problem, conflict or issue with one of our staff member, he should speak privately with the employee and both the physician and the employee should show respect when speaking with each other. When a physician is overbearing and rude in front of the patients and other staff member, it will show that the physicians at the UCF Community Care Center has no respect for other staff members and they are capable of behave in this type of manner with the patients or other staff members such as nurses and physician assistants. If our patients think highly about this physician, he have to start behave more appropriate and polite towards his staff members. Because if the patients sees that he is not treating other employees properly, he will end up lose his patients. This type of behavior can also cause the UCF Community Care Center to lose patients and cause the facility to lose
