“Eventually we learn to define happiness for ourselves, on our own terms, in spite of the pain we have been through.” This quote describes this essay prompt so perfectly. I am suppose to be writing about myself and sometimes that is not the easiest thing to do when you are not at peace with yourself. You have to be able to accept who you are. So I decided to write about the three most important things in my life. These have not changed since I realized that I have all of them in my life. I am 18 years old and son and a friend and also a teammate. All of those descriptions of me means the most out of anything in this world. As you get older you realize your family can’t be there always for you and that is pretty rough but then you have friends that will always be there for you. It depends what friends you choose but the friends you choose can really affect the way you act. You want friends that will change you for the better, I know I have amazing friends and I wouldn’t be who I am without them. I have friends in a lot of places and it is always good to make more friends. The more friends you have the better off you will be because sometimes friends are busy sometimes and you’ll have to wait on them but when you have more variety of friends then it limits the chance of them being all busy. Always be nice is the key to make friends and I realized that when I moved and Started off fresh. When you are nice people will like you and you are more likeable. LIke never judge anyone by their looks and I learned this the hard way. I try to make as much friends possible because I love to influence people 's lives. Is pain actually good and joyful is bad? This is trick because when you first look at it you will have an obvious answer and that pain is bad and being joyful is good. You have to really think about it though. Is pain actually bad because in order to feel the happiness in your life you will have to be able to know what pain feels like? Meaning that if there was no pain then you would never be happy. Then if there was no happiness then you will never have to feel pain? It is tricky and one of those things that are hard to even think about.I think it is very correct that in order to feel good you are going to have to feel the pain first. The things I love most in this world are the things that brought me the most pain. Why would I do something that brings me pain? The reason is that the feeling you get when you have the happiness just tops any feeling in the world and makes it totally worth it to go through the pain. If you ask someone if they had the choice to never feel pain ever again there obvious answer would be to get rid of the pain. Which getting rid of the pain will also get rid of happiness because you are only sad about something when you know that happiness is so much better.
