Four months into the year and already there are 2,837 gun related deaths. Over 200 guns were used for these deaths, 167 were obtained legally and 39 were obtained illegally. Even with the protective powers of clear backpacks and daily bag checks, more and more gun related deaths occur. State governments have given the ideas of supplying teachers with guns to protect our students, but what if the teacher is unable to protect our students. Again we are left powerless and unshielded.
