I believe that we, Americans, should do everything in our power to keep our right to bear
arms, Second Amendment to the Constitution . Although 61% of Americans owned guns in
1977, which was the highest point of gun ownership, that percentage slowly decreased, and in a
study from the Columbus school of.. it showed 32% of Americans had guns in 2014. In Barack
Obama's speech( on 10-1-2015),after he acknowledged the losses of the Organ college shooting
(at Umpqua Community College), he took advantage of the situation and talked about how gun
control should be enforced for the safety of America. We need to make sure that doesn't happen
because this would mean giving up protection, and in my opinion, would make America a weak
