The Importance Of Going To PME

Decent Essays
For the first 30 minutes that I arrive at PME I go into my kindergarten classroom and help Ms. Moe out. After school is over with I go to Kidstop and I help out until 3:15. Sometimes if I want to I can stay after and help out even more. I love going to PME and helping the kids out. The thing that I like the best is that I get to mentor the children.
I am so grateful that I will be able to help to mentor so many wonderful children. If I do a really great job at Kidstop I could apply for a job at Kidstop in the summertime.
I can put myself into the kids shoes and think of how they feel with the adults around. Every time they don’t listen to the staff I can just remind them that it is a good thing to listen to your elders. I can keep them in track

I am helping out at the Jacob Hiatt Magnet School in a 4th grade class. Every week for 2 hours I am able to help students with their classroom activities. At the beginning, I use to just go around in class and help the students when they need help. Now, the teacher has me take the one or two students who are struggling and sit outside with them to help them catch up. This helps them to be able to be on the same page as everyone else and it makes it easier for the teacher as well because it gets really hard for one teacher to be able to keep everyone at the same page and finish the course material on time.…

First off, I would ensure that the proper PPE is worn and that proper hand hygiene is performed. The PPE that a healthcare worker would have to wear is gloves and a gown since the disease is contracted through an fecal-oral route. Proper signage should be placed at the hospital and the school to ensure the safety of staff, students, and healthcare providers. The two main signs that should be placed are a sign showing how to properly wash your hands, and a contact precautions sign on the doors of the patients. The healthcare facility should have gowns and gloves in stock for both staff and visitors since the disease is spread through contact, and we want to minimize direct and indirect contact as much as possible to stop the spread of the disease.…

My supervisor provided me reading material, manual of operation and forms that I would for the case management.…
