God’s global agenda, that sounds like one overwhelming task because of it’s immensity. Luckily I was blessed with the oppurtunity to interview two increidble pastors and ask them what they think about it. I was able to speak to Tirsha Thornbury, youth pastor of Conejo Valley Community Church, and Glen Barnes, head pastor at First Baptist Church of Lodi. They broke down what they think God’s global agenda is and how both of them as individuals and as head of a church body are able to contribute to it. The most famous bible verse is probably John 3:16 “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Many people seem to over look that verse because they have heard it so many times but as Pastor Glen pointed out, it is very clear that Jesus loves and wants the WHOLE world. However this call may look different from person to person. Pastor Glen used the terms “goers” and “senders” to explain the different ways each indivdual can participate in making God’s name known through out the nations. Tirsha has a huge heart for going over seas but with two kids in diapers it’s extremely difficult to pay for the plane ticket to go visit the third world countries. However, one women at my church, named Joann, is 80 and in a wheelchair but she loves to donate money to missionaries going to spread the Good News. They are both helping to advance the gospel and both play a very important role how ever Tirsha is a “goer” while “Joann” is a sender. Joann also focuses on spreading the Word around her neighboorhood because you don’t have to go across the world to advance the Kingdom. At my church we have a sign that says “you are now entering the mission field” as we leave the parking lot, in order to remind us to constently have the heart of a missionairy and always be ready to spread the

Good morning, today I was asked to talk about the talk by Bonnie L. Oscarson of this last conference, and explain my feelings towards it. I read the talk and felt that we as young men & young women should give more service to the church. In the talk by Bonnie L. Oscarson, It stated, “Each person has something important to contribute and has unique talents and abilities that help the important work along.” The abilities that we as young women have help the service to spread like a weed. The big change that has helped spread this weed is the prophet just pronounced that 14 and older are now able to start ministering.…

Grace Baptist Church kindly welcomed my attendance to the first religious service I have been to in over a decade. Each member is actively involved in the church community as well as local charities. Overall positive, the experience enlightened my comprehension of the congregation’s convictions pertaining to religious values and where they are derived from. Pleasantly greeted as well as given a compassionately farewell the members of the church treated me with the utmost respect. Nonetheless, members do not always welcome individuals nicely, such as those within the LGBTQ+ community are not readily accepted as easily.…

Throughout the interview, Katie endorsed that the local government is of great service to the community and there are plenty of amenities that the city offers to its struggling residents. On the other hand, the invisible church consists of those who have been redeemed and are truly Christians. They are born again, new creatures, and are indwelt by God (John 14:23). They are the ones who have trusted by faith alone in the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and have repented of their sins. They believe in Jesus as God in flesh (John 1:1, 14, Colossians 2:9) who died on the cross and physically rose from the dead as a payment for our sins. These people are the ones who have been justified by faith (Romans 3:28, 5:1).…

“Set your affections on things above; love one another; commune at the table of our Lord in one spirit; worship in spirit and in truth; and if daily adoring, imploring, and living the divine Life, Truth, Love, thou shalt partake of the bread that cometh down from heaven, drink of the cup of salvation, and be baptized in Spirit,” wrote Mary Baker Eddy in 1898 (Christian Science Versus Pantheism). Mrs. Eddy (as she is colloquially referred to by her followers) was the woman who came to found the Christian Science religion, based on the metaphysical New Thought movement, in 1879 (Christian Science, “What is Christian Science?”). For individuals who are born into the modern Christian Science church, understanding the concept of “divinity” in the…

True and significant life is found in Jesus Christ and because of my firm conviction of this it has been my primary objective to point people to Jesus. Being persuaded that Christ wants Christians and especially those who take leadership roles to minister to the needs of others, I have ordered my life to conform to that conviction. Ultimately, Jesus desires that each Christian serves him by serving others; this is accomplished in a variety of ways – feeding those who are hungry, teaching everyone the life saving Gospel, and by leading in a way that reflects the glory of Christ. It has been my immense pleasure to have had the opportunity to preach God’s Word to thousands of people over the past fifteen years. It is my sincere passion to see people embrace Christ Jesus as their Lord and savior and to be transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word of God.…

Over the course of three years, He would teach these men the principles which would lead to worldwide salvation of multitudes. The principles which governed Jesus’ teaching to the disciples were: 1) Selection; 2) Association; 3) Consecration; 4) Impartation; 5) Demonstration; 6) Delegation; 7) Supervision; and 8) Reproduction. On these eight principles, God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, realized His grand purpose to redeem for Himself “persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language. . .”3…
